The Cars Rare, Vintage 70’s/80’s Promotional Items.  Excellent Condition!
This unique offering feature 3 items not often seen in any condition.
The first item in the set is a unique poly bag featuring The Cars artwork.  The 2-color line art is printed in black and red on a white bag.  The bag features a hole designed for hanging on any automobile round knob (such as a cigarette lighter or any knob).  The bag has never been used and is still in excellent vintage condition.  It has been folded in half over the years and stored.
Measures:  12 1/4 in. Long x 9 in. Wide
Next is a checkered flag pin mounted on a blue card backing promoting the release of The Cars album “Panorama” in 1980.  It is also offered
new, never opened
in its original poly bag.

The final item in the offering is a plastic vinyl calendar card, created as a promotional item for the release of “Candy-O”.  This playing card-sized item features the album cover art created by
artist Alberto Vargas (1896-1982) featuring a red-headed pinup model lying across a sports car.  Vargas came out of retirement to create this album art for The Cars and it has remained one of his most famous works to this day. In addition, the
Elektra Records logo appears on the front.  On the reverse, a 1979-80 calendar is printed in black and red on a white background.  In excellent condition.
